Public analyst and CEO of Magnate Communications, Aliu Mohammed has stated that the former governor of Rivers state and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike should be resisted.
He made the statement in the video from 1:00 that VANGUARD posted on its official X account on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
The statement came as a result of the political crisis in Rivers state. In the video, Mohammed stated that Nyesom Wike should stop acting like he’s the only one who has helped someone.
He said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu also helped Wike to become the FCT Minister that he is today. Mohammed said since Tinubu helped Wike, he has not treated him the way he’s treating the governor of Rivers state, Siminalayi Fubara.
According to Mohammed;
“Somebody made him who he is today. Bola Ahmed Tinubu also made him the Minister of FCT and he has not disturbed him the way he’s doing to Fubara.
“That harassment from Wike should be resisted heavily. The man (Fubara) is a state governor and you are making him look like a governor that doesn’t know what he’s doing. You will go there and you will be telling him that he must do this and that”. See More
