The governor of Rivers state, Siminalayi Fubara has commended the administration of Nyesom Wike for moving development from Port-Harcourt to other parts of the state.
This statement was contained in a video from 0.46 that NEWS CENTRAL TV shared on its official X handle on Monday, December 15, 2025.
The Rivers state governor made the statement during the commissioning of Greater TAF City Housing Estate. In the viral video that surfaced online, Siminalayi Fubara stated that his administration encountered several challenges while trying to execute the project.
Here is what Siminalayi Fubara said;
“The previous administration acquired land and moved development from the centre city to other areas so that we can accommodate our people and make life easier.
“When we started this project, we had over 90 litigations. People were coming to complain that the government was owing them but I give God the glory that in one way or the other, we were able to surmount the challenges”. View, More,
