Hilda Dokubo, a Nollywood actress and member of the Labour Party, has spoken about the Rivers State House of Assembly members who instituted impeachment proceedings against Governor Fubara

In an interview from 21:32 with News Central TV, Dokubo said she heard that the lawmakers want Governor Fubara to come to them and beg on his knees before they stop their political actions against him. She said, “They said Fubara must come and kneel down, Fubara must do this and that. You know all these people they are just very dramatic, they gave them cars, they gave them 300 million naira each, nobody heard of it until they said they gave them hundred thousand naira”

Dokubo stated that when the lawmakers were given expensive cars and 300 million naira each by the former sole administrator of Rivers State non of them raised any objection to it. She said the same lawmakers recently claimed they rejected 100 thousand naira from Governor Fubara because it was not approved in the state budget.
