A video that was posted on the official X account of News Central Tv on Monday, February 2, 2026 has captured the moment one of the chieftains of the Labour Party, LP, Abayomi Arabambi was saying that the former governor of Anambra state and the governor of Abia state, Alex Otti won’t contest in the upcoming presidential election in 2027.
In the video from 2:48 that surfaced online, Abayomi Arabambi said Peter Obi will return to the Labour Party because he has not officially resigned from the party.
According to Abayomi Arabambi in the video;
“He is still coming back to Labour Party and that is why we have filed an appeal. We will not allow our party to be a tool that will be used for political insurrection.
“Please quote me, Peter Obi and Alex Otti are not running in the Presidential election in 2027”. See_More…
