Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the FCT minister and former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle to react after a mammoth crowd were captured raising the Palestine flag in Iwo, Osun State. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that dreaded groups started in similar fashion in Kano and Borno.

The event, which was a spectacle drew massive public attention after footages from the scene went viral across various social media platforms.
Reacting, Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the FCT minister in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, raised serious concerns over the actions of those behind the gathering.
According to his statements, the outspoken senior aide pointed out that Maitasine, a dreaded group in Kano started in similar manner.
He further pointed out that the Boko Haram fighters equally started operations in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital in similar fashion.
The early alarm raised by Lere Olayinka came amid rising tensions as a result of bandits and extremist activities.
