Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the FCT minister and former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle to react after the state’s coordinator of ‘Renewed Hope Ambassadors’, Desmond Akawor praised the minister during his 58th birthday celebration. According to his statements, he equally disclosed that the man was a former prominent member of the PDP.

The former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike was recently on the spotlight after several dignitaries and political heavyweights converged on his residence in the federal capital territory, Abuja to celebrate his 58th birthday with him.

The event, which drew widespread attention across various social media platforms, came just few hours after the governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressive Congress (APC).

However, Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former Rivers State governor in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, sent a cryptic message across to indicate that the former governor still weilded powers in the state.

According to his statements, he disclosed that during his speech, the coordinator of the Rivers State Renewed Hope Ambassadors and former chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Desmond Akawor eulogized Nyesom Wike.
