A close ally of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Mazi JCI Onyeukwu, has spoken out against what he described as injustice within Nigeria’s judicial system. He stated firmly that the rights of the common man are being violated under the current administration led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In an interview from 8:34 aired on Synfomi TV, Onyeukwu revealed that he and other allies of Nnamdi Kanu are not backing down in their pursuit of justice in his case. He insisted that the already convicted IPOB leader committed no crime that would warrant a life sentence handed down by a Nigerian court.

He further disclosed that Nnamdi Kanu remains mentally sharp and in good spirits despite his continued detention, adding that the IPOB leader does not recognize the court’s final judgment on his case.

Mazi JCI Onyeukwu said: “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is in good faith, he is in tough spirit. As a matter of fact, he looks fresher than all of us. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu doesn’t deserve pity from anybody, as far as he is concerned he has committed no crime. If you say you have convicted him, it is just a child’s play. He laughs over it, he doesn’t see himself convicted because he has committed no crime known to law.” View, More,
