One of the chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has clarified the statement that he made about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu after the death of Nigerian politician, Funso Williams.
The statement of Femi Fani-Kayode was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on February 4, 2026.
He made the clarification after he said human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore tendered the comment that he made about Tinubu at the court.
In the post that surfaced online, Femi Fani-Kayode stated that he didn’t say President Bola Ahmed Tinubu killed Funso Williams. He said he only told Tinubu that he can’t be killed like a chicken and he subsequently retracted the statement.
He said Omoyele Sowore should stop dragging him into his defamation case.
