In an interview from 37:04 with Arise TV, Tambuwal said a state governor cannot arrest a criminal like Turji on his own because a governor does not even have the authority to command the Commissioner of Police in his state. He said, “Governor cannot capture Bello Turji because you can’t even commandeer the CP”
Tambuwal said that while he was governor, he and other northwest governors met with former President Muhammadu Buhari.
