Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has questioned the long-term historical judgment of the actions taken by Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and his political loyalists against the Peoples Democratic Party.

In a report by Daily Post on Monday, 15th December, 2025, Eze expressed doubt that history would be favourable to Wike and those aligned with him for their roles in the internal crisis facing the opposition party.

“Will history be kind and fair to Wike and his loyalists, as they work round the clock to bring down a party that made them what they are today. Certainly, the answer is capital NO,” he said.

According to Eze, the activities of Wike and his supporters are aimed at weakening the PDP, a party he said played a foundational role in their political rise and continued relevance.

He stated that the PDP provided the platform through which Wike and several of his allies gained prominence and influence within Nigeria’s political space.

Eze argued that working to destabilize such a party raises serious questions about political loyalty and the legacy such actions may leave behind.

The APC chieftain maintained that the efforts allegedly being made to undermine the PDP are being pursued relentlessly, with little regard for the party’s history and contributions.

He further suggested that these actions could define how Wike and his loyalists are remembered in Nigeria’s political history.

Eze made the remarks while reacting to developments following the PDP national convention, which had earlier been reported as a turning point for the party.

He described the convention as a moment that brought long-standing internal disputes to the forefront of public discourse. View, More,
