Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has extended significant support to physically challenged musician, Chris Vic, in a move aimed at boosting his career and personal well-being.

Speaking via a recent Twitter post, the Governor revealed that he has instructed the state Commissioner for Lands to allocate a plot of land in Uyo to the musician, with the Certificate of Occupancy set to be signed next week.

Beyond the land allocation, Governor Eno pledged to construct a four-bedroom house for Chris Vic and invest N100 million to establish a professional music studio for him. He clarified that these commitments are in addition to the cost of the land and the house, highlighting the administration’s focus on nurturing talent regardless of physical challenges.

“I have directed the Commissioner for Lands to allocate a plot of land in Uyo to Chris Vic, and I will sign the Certificate of Occupancy next week. We will also build him a four-bedroom flat and commit N100 million to set up his music studio. This is separate from the cost of the land and the house. In addition, as long as I remain Governor, he will receive a monthly allowance of N1 million,” Governor Eno tweeted.
