Stephen Osemwegie, President of the Save Nigeria Group, USA has described the group’s recent engagements with high-level U.S. officials as impactful, highlighting the escalating attacks on Christians in Nigeria. The group met with key appointees and lawmakers in the Trump administration to bring attention to what they termed a “Christian Genocide” in the country.

Osemwegie revealed that President Donald Trump personally urged Nigerian President Bola Tinubu to address the persistent threats from bandits and terrorists, warning that failure to act would prompt U.S. intervention to halt the killings.

Speaking to Channels Television from 1:16, Osemwegie stressed the weight of the evidence presented during their advocacy, emphasizing that the atrocities cannot be ignored. “The names are there. The mass graves are there. So nobody in the world is going to think that this can be washed away,” he said, highlighting the clear documentation of victims and sites of mass killings.
