The governor of Rivers state, Siminalayi Fubara has appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for reinstating him as governor.
This statement was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of PUNCH on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
He made the statement while speaking during a convocation ceremony that was held at the Rivers State University.
The Rivers state governor said if not for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s intervention, he would not be standing as the governor of Rivers state today.
He made the statement after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reinstated him, his deputy, Ngozi Odu and several other members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Siminalayi Fubara stated that his administration will continue to give good governance to the people of Rivers state.
