Omoyele Sowore, former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has stated that he is convinced that the judge who recently sentenced Nnamdi Kanu to prison in Sokoto will one day go there to beg Kanu for forgiveness.

In a video shared by TV Platinum from 0:57, Sowore said this would be similar to the famous incident where a judge who jailed Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti later went to the prison to apologise to him.

Sowore also said that if the judge ever decides to go to Sokoto to apologise to Kanu, the judge should contact him (Sowore) first. He stated that he would personally arrange a safe passage for the judge to visit the prison.

In Sowore’s words: “I will tell you the day the judge who sentenced him is going to go to Sokoto, he is going to go beg (like Fela was begged in Prison) for doing what is wrong if he has not done so already. But if he wants to go, tell him to contact me, I will arrange a safe passage to Sokoto” View, More,
