Former Chief of Defence Staff General Lucky Irabor has revealed that terrorist financiers were arrested and prosecuted during his tenure, but details were withheld from public disclosure.

Speaking during an interview with Channels TV from 30:43, General Irabor confirmed the trials took place behind closed doors. “While I was CDS, there were trials that were made for the terrorist financiers, but it’s not for the public consumption. What I think we should do at this point is to give support and trust those who have been charged with such responsibilities that they do what is right,” he said.

When asked about reported federal government plans to release names of terrorism financiers, Irabor stated he no longer possesses current information on the matter. “I’m no longer in active service. But I believe that there are a lot of individuals who are being called to question,” he said.
