The spokesperson of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Bolaji Abdullahi has taken to his official X account on Thursday, November 13, 2025 to criticize the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for not speaking about the rift between the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike and Naval officer, Lieutenant Ahmed Yerima.
This came after Lieutenant Ahmed Yerima prevented Nyesom Wike and his aides from accessing a land during an inspection exercise in Abuja.
In the statement that Bolaji Abdullahi shared, he said the Federal Government is expected to have spoken about the matter but it has refused to do so. He said what it means is that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scared of the FCT Minister.
Bolaji Abdullahi said Nigerians expect the President to have called the minister to order.
According to the ADC spokesperson on his official X account;
“We have taken our time to weigh in on this Wike versus Yerima saga, because we thought there was going to be an official reaction from the government. But, over 48 hours later, the government has had nothing to say”. View, More,
